The space This spacious oasis is large enough for everyone to enjoy their own space while also offering plenty of comfortable seating and gathering areas for enjoying the company of everyone in your group. • 4 bedrooms with **3 king size beds!**and a bunkbed with twin over double beds. 1 bedroom on main floor, 1 in the loft, 2 downstairs. • 3 bathrooms consist of 2 en-suite bathrooms and a Jack and Jill bathroom • Completely remodeled chef’s kitchen is well-appointed with everything you’ll need • Panoramic views from the adjacent sunroom can’t be beat! Relax in a variety of outdoor spaces! • Covered wraparound deck • Walk-out basement patio • Fire pit • BBQ grills-each property has their own • Picnic area down by the lake Enjoy breathtaking sunsets on the private dock while the more adventurous jump off the end of the dock and make good use of the three kayaks that are waiting for you, along with a huge water mat! Fort Gibson Lake is a 20,000-surface-acre lake nestled in the hills of eastern Oklahoma, just 50 miles from Tulsa but far from civilization. With 225 miles of shoreline, this crystal-clear lake feels like your own private oasis (and is great for fishing!) Drive 30 minutes to Tahlequah for a relaxing float trip down the Illinois River. Afterwards, catch some live music & local craft beer at Kroner & Baer. Don’t miss The Gathering Place in Tulsa, a 66-acre riverfront park which was recently named USA Today’s Best New Attraction in the country. The Lake Escape is located at The Roadrunner Retreat on Fort Gibson Lake. Please note we have 3 separate homes on the property we offer to guests. These are The Lake Escape, Hillside Haven and The Hideaway. Each home is private, but the dock is shared. **You also have the option to rent out the entire place if you'd like!! Perfect for weddings, family reunions, corporate retreats. Please let us know if you will be planning a group event** If you need to park a boat, you must reserve the single slip in advance. There are a number of options on the lake for boat rentals and just up the road is where you will be able to drop the boat into the water. We have some firewood on the property as well as the opportunity to collect fallen branches, however we do recommend you bring your own firewood so you can have as many smores as your heart desires! We provide 1 starter log in case you forget so you can enjoy a nice fire before having to go out and collect more. Guest access Lake Escape @The Roadrunner Retreat is located just 21 miles from Talequah and Muskogee, OK. Be sure to stock up on supplies before coming, as you’ll be 15 minutes away from the nearest...anything. When you arrive enter through the white gated entrance, drive down a dirt road to the main house. Please park in the circle driveway in front of the main house. You can access the home through a self check in smart lock. Other things to note The Lake Escape is located at The Roadrunner Retreat on Fort Gibson lake.
