An 80-year-old private house built in the style of a Kyoto townhouse located in the center of Kyoto, close to Nijo Castle. We have prepared facilities where you can enjoy a stay as if you were living in a traditional Japanese interior with tatami mats, sliding doors and shoji. Only one group of guests can stay each day. The capacity is 6 people, and we provide 2 Western Style beds and 4 sets of high-quality feather futons manufactured by IWATA, a long-established Kyoto company. It is a large 2-story building of about 200 square meters in a quiet residential neighborhood with a tsubo garden. In a quiet and calm environment, it is also attractive to relax in a private living room after returning from sightseeing. Fully automatic washer and dryer, Nespresso, dishes, detergent, etc. are all available for free. It is a 10-minute subway ride from Kyoto Station, and a 5-7 minute walk from there. We do not provide meals, but there are many restaurants and shops with beautiful items unique to Kyoto nearby. Because it is wooden, no smoking is allowed anywhere in the room due to the risk of fire. The size is about 200 square meters, including the first and second floors. All rooms have tatami mats. There are two Western Style beds, plus four sets of high-quality IWATA feather futons. A small set of tables and chairs can also be provided upon request. There are two showers and two toilets with bidets on the first floor. There are three sinks. We have a fully automatic washer and dryer, kitchen, microwave, dishes, detergent, etc. To be environmentally friendly, we do not provide plastic cups, but we do provide paper disposable cups, reusable paper towels, paper towels, Nespresso, etc. for free, so feel free to use them all. For example, when going to Arashiyama, you can take the subway from the inn to the end of the line in 5 minutes and change trains from there.
