Set in the back house, the flat overlooks a garden courtyard shared with a school. The space This apartment is truly our home, not a generic rental. We are a trend consultant and researcher who spend weeks at a time travelling for work, we’ve designed it to be a comfortable and inspiring base when in Berlin. The space is filled with artworks from our artist friends and pieces collected during travels around the world, giving it a character you won’t find in a typical crash pad. The kitchen is equipped like a real home—with proper pots and pans, sharp knives, spices, and tools you can actually cook with. There’s also a water filter to soften Berlin’s famously hard water, a Delonghi espresso machine for your morning coffee, and only eco-friendly cleaning products. The home office includes a desk and screen for work, and it doubles as a cozy second bedroom with a small bed that can sleep one or two extra guests. In 2024 we were able to afford a balcony upgrade, perfect for morning coffee or fresh air breaks. Reuterkiez, our neighborhood in Neukölln, is lively and eclectic—full of cafés, vintage shops, street art, and green spaces. Staying here means being in the heart of it, while still having a calm, comfortable retreat to return to. We love our neighborhood- and have a guide for getting around and enjoying the best parts.
