Just minutes to Keeneland and Red Mile. You’ll be glad you found this hidden gem in the Horse Capital of the World. Close to everything but in a safe and friendly neighborhood. Within ten minutes (or less) to Keeneland, Downtown, Rupp Arena, The Distillery District, UK, Masterson Station Park, Legacy Trail, The Arboretum or a scenic drive down Old Frankfort Pike. Our cozy cottage boasts two bedrooms with queen beds, a huge back yard with privacy fence to relax in, wi-fi, and large screen tv. The space Lexington's best kept secret! This neighborhood's near everything you want but feels away from it all. Our cottage is the perfect place to unplug and unwind - or watch the game on our 55" tv. With the mid-century design elements still in tact, inside or taking a walk, it's easy to imagine you're spending your time in Mayberry! What a great place to relax after a day at the races, the Railbird Festival or a ball game. Note: The basement laundry is only available for stays of 7 nights or longer. Exceptions are made if you ask. For some reason Airbnb classified our place as “golfing”. It is NOT on a golf course. There is a small 1 car garage that is set up for lounging but if you are staying for longer than two weeks and need storage space it can be used for such. Additionally we can accommodate some storage needs in the basement for longer stays. Other things to note The subject is 2 bedroom, 1 bath house with living room, dining nook and kitchen with large fenced in backyard, small patio and a garage set up for outdoor socializing or a smoke. There is a laundry in basement that is accessible to guests staying for 7 nights or longer. (If your stay is shorter but still need the washer/dryer just ask).The basement and garage can also be set up to for some storage needs for longer stays but ask first to make sure we can accommodate. It is NOT on a golf course. It is near one. Well behaved pets are welcome. Please follow the local leash laws when outside and pick up after your pet. Please keep pets off the beds and furniture. We provide a generous stock of basics such as detergent (stays 1 week+), tp, etc. for your stay but we do not replenish those supplies during your stay. We also do not provide maid service or do laundry during your stay. That is the guests’ responsibility.
