Relax with the whole family at this beautiful lakefront cottage on Cossayuna Lake. The cottage has a bright, cheerful living space with an extra large bathroom. You can enjoy time outside in the screened in gazebo with a wood burning fireplace or head to the lake for some kayaking and swimming out near the island. If you choose to do some sight seeing or attend an event, Glens Falls, Lake George, the Adirondacks, and Vermont are only a short ride away. This setting has something for everyone! The space The cottage offers two bedrooms inside and a separate bunkhouse in the back yard with two full beds and electricity. There is a large kitchen with plenty of seating and a living room at the front of the cottage with lake views. The gentle sloping front lawn has plenty of space for games. You can BBQ or relax in the screened in gazebo to take the evening chill off. The property provides 50' of lakefront with a dock and kayaks with life jackets and paddles available for your use. We don’t recommend swimming off the dock. The water is shallow which supports wildlife. Guest access The property is on a dead-end access road with two camps beyond. There is plenty of parking next to the cottage and across from the front. There is a boat launch a short distance away and a lake store that offers a menu and unique goods within two-three miles. Other things to note The well water has a very slight sulfur smell. It’s fine for drinking and showering but it would be a personal choice to provide your own drinking water. The access road crosses the property. Guests are asked to be conscious about other property owners and keeping the roadway unobstructed. Please note 24 hour security surveillance on the property (front door, gazebo, back door, and dock area).
