The watering house is a spacious country house with 4 bedrooms with double beds, a kitchen and a living room with a fireplace. It is well equipped to provide you with a pleasant stay in the countryside and rural farm. It is located on a quiet riverside farm and 300 meters from Trabulo River Beach. The space Casas do Trabulo is a project to rehabilitate the existing stone houses in Quinta do Trabulo. The Cardoso family lived in them, and the cereals of the region were ground in the water mills by the river. These houses offer exceptional conditions to combine rest in a rural space in direct contact with the true nature of the interior of Portugal. It is the ideal place to spend a family vacation, with friends or simply a romantic weekend in the middle of nature and with the hospitality of this family and quiet environment of a rural farm. This rehabilitation project is still ongoing, so we have some of the houses that are still under construction and others unfortunately in ruins and awaiting future rehabilitation. Guest access All guests are invited to visit our farm, the mills and stroll along the area's hiking trails (the Míscaro route), as well as enjoy the Trabulo river beach in the summer season. Other things to note The base price of the reservation is based on 2 guests per room. That is, if the reservation is for 2 people, it is only considered one room and so on. If you wish to have access to one room per person, you must pay an extra fee for cleaning the extra room at check-in. If this is your case, you can contact us to find out what extra fee to pay. This Quinta is located in a valley and the mobile network is very weak inside the house, and may not even have a network depending on your mobile operator. It's a network problem for the carriers in this area and unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it. However, we want to reinforce this situation, because we understand that for many guests it is essential to always be contactable and have internet for work and family reasons. But outside and in the street and beach area, the mobile network is already acceptable. We do not provide internet or cable TV. There is no public transport that passes here near the farm. Therefore, we advise you to have your own transportation or taxi to go to the nearest restaurants and villages and to get to know our vast region.
