Close to the city center as well as the forest, river and fjord, this area has it all. Shops, cafés, green parks, old wooden houses and even a silo! In this 3 apartment house you will get 100 m2 on the first floor and loft, sharing the entrance and outdoor courtyard with myself and friendly neighbors. You will love the playful atmosphere where everyone can feel at home. Perfect for families with kids and groups of friends exploring Trondheim´s treasures. The space There is space for 10 people around the dinner table in a big living room with a sofa group, kitchen island and fire place. On the walls you will find both art and traces of history from this 150 year old timber house. There are 3 bedrooms, a 3-in-1 bathroom, gymnastics/golf/climbing hall in addition to a playroom loft with lots of toys and a big couch on which two people can sleep if necessary. In the courtyard you will find an nice seating area with heating lamps for chilly evenings, wood shed, dart board, hammocks and a fully equipped workshop with tools that neighbors occasionally come to borrow (Ila nærverksted). The house stands next to a playground on a car free street of cobblestone. In front of the entrance there is a "free fridge" regularly filled with left over food from locals and cafés that you can use (Free Fridge Ila). Guest access In addition to the apartment you will have access to a washing machine/dryer, the common courtyard: heating lamps and wood shed. In the summer you might want to drink your morning coffee on the roof terrasse? Feel free to light the fire place, play with the board games, musical instruments, toys or minigolf. Watch a movie on the loft or listen to music over the sound system. You can use all the tools in the workshop and towels in the bathroom. Basically just feel at home. Other things to note There is parking in the neighborhood, cost around 130kr a day, usually no more than 50 meters away. The closest food shop, 100 meters up the street, is open every day. The local café offers free live jazz every Sunday afternoon at one o´clock.
