Within a few minutes walk there is a children soft play, gym, several cafe's and also a large Tesco supermarket. Tarka Villa is situated beside the beautiful "Tarka Trail" walking and cycle path where you can enjoy miles of (car free) coastal walking and cycling from your doorstep. There are cafes along the way and you can also cycle to the Market town of Barnstaple in around half an hour. Bring your own bikes or there is cycle hire nearby if needed. BMX track also nearby.
