Sunrise Waterfront Cottage

Enjoy the quiet and serenity of Hoopers Island from our cozy waterfront cottage. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life in this little town. Set up some chairs on the dock of the pier and fish or crab or catch some sun! Take a swim, kayak or float off the pier. Enjoy the sunrise relaxing on the back porch; sip your morning coffee or pick some local crabs on the back porch. Take a short walk down to the bridge to explore the small beaches and collect shells and sea glass! The space This updated 2 bedroom/1 bath cozy cottage is located on the waterfront in quiet Hoopers Island. We have a fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, plates and more. There is an outdoor propane grill provided for your use. Our home is equipped with Smart TVs, Sonos Speakers, and FiberOptic Hi Speed Internet. Fishing and crabbing are allowed off of the pier. Hoopers Island General Store can help supply a temporary license, your tackle needs, or bring your own! Make sure you bring your fishing rod! We do have a few crab pots that are available for use tied off along the pier. Guest access Access code for the lock box will be provided 3 days before your stay. Other things to note Please note Hoopers Island is a very remote location and does not have a supermarket on the island. The Hoopers Island General Store has basic needs, but it is advised to stop on your way down to shop for food and drinks! Stop in Cambridge (30 mins from the property) on your way in for groceries. Cambridge is home of some great restaurants downtown and on the waterfront! Stop by Emily's Produce Stand on your way in for farm fresh ingredients! We are able to offer 2 Kayaks if requested, available and waiver is signed, but for all other water sport equipment rental, please reach out to Blackwater Adventures to make your reservation! Blackwater Refuge & Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor's Center are both on your drive onto the island and worth planning a visit! Hoopers Island is home of Old Salty's Restaurant and a short drive from our property is Boats & Hose on Taylors Island Marina.
