In the kitchen, you will find everything you need to prepare a delicious meal: Here, you will find, among other things, an oven, a ceramic stovetop, a fridge and freezer, a kettle, a coffee maker, a toaster, and a microwave. Of course, basic supplies such as oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and the like are also a must. You can comfortably eat, chat, work, or play at the extendable table. And on the fold-out couch, you can make yourself comfortable in front of the TV after a relaxing day of vacation and wind down the evening. In the bedroom, a large, comfortable double bed (2 x 5.9 feet) ensures a good night's sleep. The natural-light bathroom with shower, toilet and washer-dryer offers the utmost comfort. And the south terrace with table, four chairs, umbrella and cozy garden bench also invites you to linger. Other things to note Our house is located on a quiet residential street in Gusterath, in the immediate vicinity of the forest. This is also where the first “dream loop” begins—one of 111 wonderful “dream loop” hikes around the Hunsrück and Hochwald regions. The Ruwer bike path is just minutes away; from there, you can ride along the old railway line to Kell am See, or to the Moselle and on to Trier or Koblenz. Trier, the oldest city in Germany, can be reached quickly by bus; the nearest stops are just 300 and 550 meters away. By car, it is 12 kilometers, or 15 minutes, to the city center. Of course, you will find pure culture there, following in the footsteps of the Romans. And if you're looking for something special away from the main shopping streets, you'll find some of the most beautiful and trendy cafes and bistros on Neustraße, for example. Fancy bars and iconic pubs also make the nightlife in this college town an experience. Feel free to ask us for more tips on things to do in Trier and the surrounding area! You can park for free on the street directly across from our front door, or in a public parking lot 50 meters away, also free of charge. Gusterath offers several doctors and a hairdresser. Right in the neighboring village of Pluwig, you will find a supermarket, a bakery and a restaurant. Additional shopping options are only 5–10 minutes away by car.
