Other things to note Very nice cottage (75 sqm) for 1 - 4 people in Zandt which is very quiet and surrounded by meadows,forest and fields. It also offers a beautiful view of the mountains. On the 2nd floor are two cozy bedrooms (double room and twin bed). There is a toilet with sink in each bedroom. On the ground floor is the newly renovated living area with kitchen and dishwasher. In the living room, the fireplace offers a plump warmth. A furnished terrace and small fully fenced garden are also available for use. In the vicinity are beautiful hiking and biking trails, a nature park, as well as beautiful outdoor trails for the dog. In the village (only about 750m) you will find everything you need for a relaxing beautiful holiday: restaurants, butcher, supermarket, bank, gas station, doctor, dentist, hairdresser, and many other shops. The tourist info is also in the village. It's just minutes to the magnificent spa town to Bad Kötzting. Here you will find a fantastic wellness landscape with indoor and outdoor swimming pool and various saunas. In addition, a beautiful spa park and casino. For convenient shopping, our neighboring country is the Czech Republic, only about 25 km away. In the nearby many excursion and entertainment options such as fishing, tennis, indoor and outdoor pools, churches, monasteries, museums, rivers and lakes, amusement parks, toboggan runs, many 1000m mountains, glassblowing, romantic cities such as Passau, Regensburg or Marienbad and Prague. Winter fun right in the nearby area in St. Englmar or at the Hohe Bogen. There is something for everyone. You can relax, hike, visit cities, swim and shop cheaply. One more general note: Electricity,garbage and water are billed directly on site, so they really only pay what they consume. In corona times, we generally have to do a final cleaning.
