Forest retreat or beach trip, at the Evergreen Escape you can enjoy the tranquility of nature in a forest setting, yet only a 5 minute drive from the beach. Located 10 minutes south of Seaside and 5 minutes from Gearhart. This spacious single-level ranch/farmhouse was recently remodeled and is stocked with everything you need to enjoy the Oregon Coast. Guest count capacity is 6 including children ( under 2 not included in count but please note this in the reservation), 4 adults is max capacity. The Evergreen Escape is a unique property set on 10 acres. Relax on the porch, enjoy s'mores on the campfire or shoot hoops on the large basketball pad. Relax in the sunroom and sip your morning coffee; you might see a deer or 2 wander by. If interested, please enquire about 30-day rentals during the off-season. Please note: This property is not set up for additional adults beyond 4 due to bed configuration and intent to keep noise to a minimum out of interest to our permanent resident neighbors. This house is a one-level home, but has some steps between various rooms (i.e., sunken living room). This is a rural area of Gearhart. You will hear occasional mooing from the cows or the rooster next door. We have the friendliest neighbors and ask for your consideration when visiting this special place they call home year-round. If country noises bother you, this is not the right choice for a rental. Most of the time, we hear nothing but the wind in the trees, birdsong, and a quiet solitude we never experience living in Portland. Pet Fee: For each dog you bring along, we'll add a non-refundable fee of $25 to your booking for each night of your stay. To ensure fairness, we've capped the total pet fee at $150 per week. Depending on the duration of your stay and the number of dogs, we will adjust this fee either by sending you a trip change request or through the Resolution Center.
