The Hop Store, private self-catering accommodation in the heart of Herefordshire. Guests (with dogs welcomed), enjoy exploring the area or creating a base whilst visiting local family or attending a wedding. We offer a king/twin option, (with space for a travel cot), a separate double, open-plan living/dining with log burner & well equipped kitchen. There's amble parking, a private courtyard, great wi-fi, your own pond /wildlife area where guests can fish & country walks from the front door. The space As it's name suggests, The Hop Store was a store for locally grown hops after processing in the adjacent Three Kilns. In 2009 it formed part of an award winning conversion project, and although new to Air B&B, has been welcoming holiday guests ever since. The light and airy ground floor includes: Living area: 2 comfy sofas, HD TV, DVD player, a selection of games, books & DVDs & log burning stove. Dining area. Dining table for 4 Kitchen area: Amble storage & well equiped, oven, hob, extractor, microwave, larder fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Stairs lead from the hall/lounge area to: Front Bedroom: Can be made as a super-king, twin or single room. Built in wardrobe & en-suite toilet & basin. Safety window lock. Guests who have brought a travel cot have fitted this alongside the king bed. Double Bedroom: Double bed, built in wardrobe, fitted safety lock to window. Bathroom: Basin with shaving point, bath, toilet & large walk in shower. Outside: Enclosed private courtyard garden leads from the dining room patio doors. Garden furniture, parasol & outside washing line. Outside tap. 5 steps lead to private boot room, handy for storing muddy walking boots & coats or fishing tackle. Pond & wildlife area especially enjoyed by guests in the evenings. Parking outside the cottage for up to 3 cars. Guest access The entrance drive is shared with the house next door, with the cottage having amble, level parking for up to 3 cars right outside. The cottage and courtyard garden are completely self-contained. Other things to note The Hop Store shares a wildlife area with the owner's house next door. Guests are welcome to use the pond area to fish or just sit & enjoy the wildlife - we usually have plenty of ducks around!
