Seaside villa with amazing view

Our home in situated on the island Lidingö just outside central Stockholm. It was built 1908 by the Swedish artist Tyra Kleen. The most unique things about our home is the panorama view of the sea, and the pasty way down to the private dock where you take a dip in the sea. The space When you stay at our place, you have the whole property to yourself. There’s a private dock by the water, and an outdoor dining area with a gas barbecue—perfect for summer evenings. I grew up in this house with my parents, and since 2013 I’ve lived here with my own family. It’s a charming home, and you’ll feel like you’re staying in a real house, not a fancy hotel. My husband and I are always working on it bit by bit. A few years ago we renovated the exterior—new roof, façade, and windows—so no more water dripping in😅 Last year we rebuilt the upstairs bathrooms, and by the end of 2024 all four bedrooms were freshly painted. In 2025 we added a brand-new continental bed in the master bedroom 😍 Guest access Full access to all of the property, apart from all the stuff in the messy basement. We often get the question, but we do not have a boat for rent. And we strongly advice against docking a boat no matter the size, due to the waves from passing boats. By the water you have access to a sitting area. But the small house by the docks belongs to the neighbors.
