Food can be stored in the refrigerator or in the basement rooms. The electricity for the lighting and the 230 V socket are generated via a solar system. Small consumers such as mobile phones and cameras can be easily charged at the socket. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms – one on the gallery and one in a separate room. A bathroom with shower and toilet is also available to guests (hot water included). The tiled stove, which is heated with wood, provides pleasant warmth on cool evenings. Here you can relax and dream on vacation and all this with crystal clear mountain air. The kitchen can also stay cold, because in the guest house "Leonhardhütte", only 200 - 300 m away, you will be happy to be cooked for. Here you can hike extensively, walk or relax. The Malta Valley in Carinthia is the "valley of falling water" - tons of water fall into the valley here - including the highest waterfall in Carinthia - the Fallbach - and the three Gößfälle. Under the waterfall is a water park that offers a special kind of experience. And the waterfalls that plunge into the valley in summer with gigantic natural forces can be climbed in winter. The Malta Valley offers various climbing opportunities for beginners and professionals. The donkey park is certainly worth a visit - it is about 10 minutes away by car. On an area of 30,000 m², 100 different animal species live and look forward to being petted. In summer, you can take fantastic hikes through the mountains. Past blooming Almrausch and small streams, hiking trails lead to the Stubeck in 2370 m, to the Faschaunereck in 2,612 m and to the 2,792 m high equestrian area. However, the area offers countless hiking opportunities. And after a hike you can pamper yourself at the Leonhardhütte. This is accessible from the cottage in fifteen minutes walking time. Excursions to the Hohe Tauern and Nockberge National Parks provide highlights in Carinthia. In Malta there is a swimming pool - the nearest swimming lake is Lake Millstättersee about 30 km away.
