Guest suite in Lebanon

Relaxing country setting secluded off a long private driveway, on a dead end road, in historic Lebanon, Connecticut. Horses line the driveway, and chickens roam the yard. Sunrises over the backyard amongst the tree covered hills. The private accessory apartment, attached to the main home, includes one bedroom, living area, kitchen, bathroom, & porch. Witness the bustle of the active homestead. Relatively close to landmark casinos (Foxwoods & Mohegan Sun), hiking, the shoreline & historic sites. The space Upon entering you will be in the living area surrounded by a coat rack, TV, wingback chair, pull out coach (full size), and bookshelves, which include some games, books to read, and stationary. To your left is the bedroom with a dresser, queen size bed and closet. You can find additional blankets, pillows, and full size sheets for the pull out couch within the closet. Through the bedroom windows you can see the views of the backyard including the sun rise and roaming chickens. Past the living area you approach the kitchen with a dining table and two chairs to the right. Just past this is a desk and chair. Within the kitchen is a full size stove, refrigerator, microwave, teapot and coffee machine, as well as plates, cups, silverware and pot and pans. There is also a pantry and stacked washer and dryer. To the left of the kitchen is the bathroom, including towels, and some necessities. The space also has a guidebook, and bluetooth speaker. Outside the home is a vegetable garden, a cutting garden, four chicken coops, some fruit trees, and a run in shed. Our property is bordered to the left by a horse fence where our neighbors have cows and rescue horses. Please feel free to take a walk around the grounds, visit the garden and pet the chickens. Please do refrain from feeding the horses and cows, as they are our neighbors. The animal fence has an electrical fence line towards the bottom. Please do not touch this line. The fields surrounding our property are Connecticut preserved farm land, so feel free to go for a walk, as you wish. Please wear bright colors, during hunting season if you do decide to walk them. It is an active homestead with animals, vegetables, and family. We are away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Traveling out to dinner, a movie, or an outing is a nice scenic drive. If you are visiting to go to a particular event or location, please feel free to message me to find out the distance from the home to your desired location. Guest access The home is in a driving community. You'll enter our long driveway, with maple and apple trees on the left and an old farm well on the right. As you approach the house there will be a horse fence on the left. Please feel free to park in the spot closest to the house. You will enter your space through the private porch closest to the driveway. Other things to note You may wish to have an all wheel drive/4 wheel drive vehicle when visiting during times of snow. No animals are permitted to join you during your stay for any reason at any time. Please refrain from staying here if you plan on any legal or illegal drug use or smoking of any kind. This matter is taken very seriously. We are located in a rural area, but are still very centrally located to many Connecticut attractions.
