Modern, spacious house with tropical backyard. Situated on a quiet crescent close to the river. Heron By The River is the perfect place for a summer holiday. The space Our home is in Barwon Heads, a seaside village on the Bellarine Peninsula. Situated on a quiet crescent, only 5 minute walk to the river, with a coastal boardwalk for nature and fishing lovers. The village centre is a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk, with plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. There are playgrounds, tennis courts, cafes and beaches a short walk away. There are many coastal towns within 15-30 minute drive, all with their own unique vibe and community, like Ocean Grove, Torquay, Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff. Our house is a spacious, three bedroom, one level modern home. Beautiful open plan living with bifold doors to the outdoor entertainment area. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, there are two other bedrooms, with double bed and bunk. The rumpus room has a sofa bed and plenty of games and toys if you have children to entertain. There is central heating and cooling, also a wood stove for the colder nights. Our kitchen has everything you would need to cook up some nourishing meals with veggies, fruit and herbs from the garden, you’re welcome to enjoy. Plenty of board games and Netflix/Stan for indoor days. The kitchen and living areas open up to an outdoor entertainment area, with Traeger smoker and grill. The backyard is our tranquil oasis with an outdoor bathtub and shower, perfect after a day at the beach and surf. There are tropical plants thru the garden and surrounding the fire pit. A big vegetable and herb garden for cooking. A securely fenced yard, great for the kids with a Vuly enclosed trampoline and grass lawn to play sports. Including surf beaches, rivers, wineries, golf courses and nature hikes. The town centre has plenty of cafes and shops, a big park at the beach and an information booth during weekends and all summer. Rent stand up paddleboards and kayaks at the river beach in town for a paddle. We're surrounded by tourist destinations and activities like, the Great Ocean Road and walk, the Surf Coast, the Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne and Geelong, the You Yangs and amazing surf beaches and wildlife. Guest access The entire house. No garage access and one bedroom will be locked.
