Detached house & garden on water & Amsterdam Forest

The combination of a private house with a garden AND the cosiness of Amsterdam at a 10 min bikeride from the famous Vondelpark seems impossible. However 7 years ago we found this little piece of paradise right at the Amsterdam forest. The house has had many cultural purposes in the past but was recently converted into this beautiful family home keeping the original details in place. Perfectly equipped for a family or potentially 2 couples. Central location, easy parking, busstop in front, bikes! The space This stand-alone house has an unobstructed view of water and greenery and due to her rich history has a monumental feel to it but with all the modern facilities. When you're inside it feels like you don't have any neighbours, unique for Amsterdam! Swimming in the summer and ice-skating in front of the door in winter, what more could you want! The house is spread over 3 floors plus a small attic where the second double mattress is located. Ground floor On the floor where you enter is the kitchen that is fully equipped as we live here ourselves. Large oven, 5 burner stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge / freezer, but also Nespresso, blender, juicers, airfryer, everything you can think of is there. In addition, on this floor there is the living room with a large dining table and 6 chairs, 2 lounge chairs. Everything for children available, high chair, child gates for the stairs etc. Downstairs If you go down from the ground floor with the beautiful spiral staircase you come to the 'master' bedroom, baby room and a bathroom with its own toilet, sink and jacuzzi (also a washer-dryer combination). The bedroom has a king size bed which is extra long 210 cm with a very high quality mattress and fitted wardrobes (a part will not be used for storage). The children's room has a bed of 140x70cm with or without bars depending on the age of the child. Chest of drawers, closet and storage. Upstairs If you go up from the ground floor you enter the chill area with access to the second bed in the attic of the house. The chill area has a large corner sofa, TV with chromecast, PS3 game console and a bookcase. Also on this floor is a bathroom with private toilet, rain shower and sink. Attic Second double bed. Small storage in use by owner. Garden You enter your own large garden through a lockable gate. There is enough space for the little ones to go outside or run around in the backyard, which is still arranged as a forest. There is a garden house with an extra dryer and extra freezer if needed. The outdoor jacuzzi is only available on request in winter. Balcony & platform On the ground floor you will find large windows and patio doors to a spacious balcony / patio with a lounge set and sunshades on the south. Downstairs there are again beautiful windows and patio doors which give access to the platform on the water. A Stand Up Paddle Board is available on request. Guest access There is plenty of parking in front of the door. In some places, take into account costs or the use of a blue disc. There is a bus stop a 2 min walk in front of the door that goes both further into the city towards Amsterdam and towards Amstelveen (every 10 min). Cycling is of course wonderful in Amsterdam.
