Y Llew Bach, our snug little Welsh cottage

Y Llew Bach is a our one bedroom 300 year old cottage ideal for couples and friends. We do have a small double sofa bed for 1 adult or 2 children. Open 4 nights a week is our quiet country pub The Lion Inn serving amazing homemade food and takeaway pizzas. Deep in the Welsh countryside situated on The Pilgrims Way, we offer spectacular views within easy reach of Snowdonia and the Welsh coast. Local attractions include Zip World, Betws-Y-Coed, Conwy, lots of castles and Beautiful beaches. The space We offer lots of home comforts, including a super comfy double bed with TV/DVD player on the mezzanine level where although there is restricted headroom, the view is definately worth it! Downstairs there is a small sofa bed and tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, microwave and toaster, plates and cutlery provided and ensuite shower room. Towels and bedding also provided. Guest access Easy to find, we have one parking space next to Y LLew Bach and plenty of space for another car opposite. We're surrounded by fields, sheep, cows and the odd pheasant and we're very dog friendly. Please note there are no shops in the village, nearest small shop is 10 minutes away but the local town of Llanwryst offers a supermarket, take aways and cafes, a lovely river and even a swimming pool! Other things to note We now have full 4G Internet in the village as well as WIFI which works in some areas of the cottage. The Lion Inn is open Wednesday from 7pm and Friday and Saturday and Sunday evenings from 5pm so please do check ahead before you come if you'd like food or drinks. We have a varied menu and do amazing homemade pizzas and burgers which can be taken away, homemade cakes and food depending on the season. We vary things throughout the year but look forward hopefully welcoming you. Children are very welcome. Please note though that there is no stair gate available for the stairs so would suit children age 3+ and we can provide blow up mattresses and bedding if needed. There is plenty of floor space upstairs but only standing headroom in the middle so may not suit if you are very tall. Downstairs is no issue though. The sofa bed downstairs with extra mattress topper is great for 1 adult or 2 children. We do allow well behaved dogs, however we must inisit that you DO NOT bring dogs on heat, DO NOT leave them alone in the property at any time, DO NOT let them on the bed or bedding and any damages must be paid for. We're sorry to have to say this but we've had too many incidents over the summer and runied bedding!.
