Cozy 2-bedroom Loft with a Terrace & Parking

Our flat is located in an old lamp factory from the '20s, renovated to spacious lofts. don't expect an airbnb-dedicated place because it’s our home & yours only in our absence. All our facilities are ready for your use: speakers, vinyls, books, projector, kitchen/washing utilities. We love to welcome our guests and show them the beauty of Brussels and the area of Tour&Taxis: the most upcoming neighborhood of Brussels in the former industrial port, close to the city centre with a hip/eco vibe. The space The apartment is 120m2 with a 26m2 terrace. It has 2 bedrooms, the masterbedroom with a double bed (+ babybed) and the children room with a matrass (soon a double sleeping sofa will be installed). The living room and kitchen form a 70m2 open space which has great atmosphere. We love kids, art, photography, plants, music, beer and good food - all those passions you can find back in our home. Kitchen utilities at your disposal: microwave, oven, dishwasher, fridge, mixer, gas-fire, water cooker, bialetti, sodastream. Our bathroom has a shower, bath and 2 sinks. Washing machine and dryer can be used. There is a parking and bikes available - upon request. Guest access The neighborhood of tour and taxis is exciting and well connected. Metro line 6 (stop "Pannenhuis") is within 5 minutes walk and connects you to different parts of the city and the centre. This line connects you with the south station within 20minutes. Bus 88 stops almost in front of the door and brings you to the city centre in 20 minutes. This bus stops in North station, so is 15minutes away. Parking in the neighborhood is hell so we have a parking spot for you. Please let us know in advance whether you want to use it. The apartment does not have an elevator and is located on the first floor to be reached by an outside staircase which is wide and easy. The loft is part of the second building from the street, which means we are far away from the street. This makes the apartment extremely calm without any noise. Other things to note The area is amazing and the reason we live here. The tour & taxis site is developing further every day and attracts a chill, young and family-minded crowd. The site has a lot to offer: a park, an amazingly renovated port warehouse "Gare Maritime", a zero-wasted eco store, 3(!) breweries, a coffeeplace, an urban winery, etc. There are many events organized in and around the site like concerts, festivals, art expos, children activities, you name it. We will check the program with you, there is always something going on. We will tell you all about our favorite places in this area and beyond to make you fall in love with Brussels' vibe and its (im)perfections ;)
