Join us on the beautiful coast of downeast Maine. This sweet 20 ft yurt is snuggled in a gorgeous meadow next to private ocean front access. The secluded site offers comfy outdoor seating, hammock, composting toilet, fire pit, showers nearby and a big clean comfy bed. Enjoy watching the wildlife from the seaside oasis under ancient pines, picking wildflowers, stargazing, or swimming in the sea . Less than 15 min from Lubec’s quaint downtown, Campobello Islands sites and over 200 hiking trails! The space The property is located at the far end of a long untouched meadow. There is a gravel driveway that will lead you to your oasis. From the yurts front door you will be able to see Cobscook Bay in all its glory. The property has groomed and well lit trails going from the driveway all the way to the ocean. There is a large picnic table, fire pit with bench seating, and a queen sized bed located on site. There is no potable water on site but you can shower and get refills .5 miles down the road at Cobscook State Park. We do offer a composting toilet for your convenience. Guest access You are welcome to explore anywhere to the left of the driveway! Feel free to follow the stream, check in the windows of the abandoned house, and enjoy the waterfront. Other things to note If you need a fresh shower Cobscook State Park provides them for a small fee. 😊
