Tranquil Rustic Cottage in the country

Escir Cottage is a traditional, rustic two storey house that was originally built in 1901. Recently renovated and restored to a very high standard, the house is situated next to the former estate residence and compliments the extensive lawns and grounds. Located 1 mile from Dromore village and very central to both Enniskillen and Omagh. The location has ample parking and can accomodate horse lorries and campers. Finally, there is a Hot Tub at the House for guests to enjoy. The space Escir Cottage opened its doors in October 2021. I spent over a year restoring the cottage back to its original footprint with a small extension to the side. The Cottage started life as the 'farm hands' accommadation and housed a Husband and Wife plus a neighbouring worker who, for their commited work on the estate were given free food and lodgings. The Cottage is situated next to the former estate house which was originally constructed in 1861, but again has been restored to its original glory. The Cottage is equidistant from beautiful Enniskillen and Omagh. In Fermanagh you have all the exciting attractions such as Lough Erne, Marble Arch Caves, Enniskillen Castle and Cuilagh board walk. In Tyrone you have the award winning Ulster American Folk Park, The Gortin Glens Forest Park and Dava Forest. All great for walking and meandering around! I am always nearby and available during your stay for any queries that you may have or looking for local information. Guest access Guests have unrestricted access to the lawns and wooded area around and to the front of the Cottage. Other things to note We can offer the following 'adons' to our guests during their stay: Breakfast boxes & Cheese boards. The afore mentioned services must be booked and paid for directly with me at the point of booking.
