We always wished that going on vacation didn’t mean a choice between a hotel and take out every night or staying at someone’s place that was outfitted with their cast-off furnishings. This is our version of recreating the comforts of home while on vacation and we’d like to share it with you. Kitchen Our large chef’s kitchen means you have the room and tools to either create a gourmet feast on the holidays or to enjoy dinner with friends and family each night. Our kitchen features granite countertops and state of the art appliances, including a Jen- Air gas range and oven, a full-size refrigerator with an icemaker and filtered water, a microwave, and a quiet dishwasher. We have outfitted the kitchen with top of the line tools to make cooking fun! Make your morning coffee using our Chemex pour-over coffee system. We’ve included a bag of Heart coffee from Sea Level Café and a selection of Smith teas for our tea loving guests. Use our carefully selected Le Creuset and Staub cookware to show off your favorite recipes. We’ve included baking essentials from Williams Sonoma for the baker in the family that loves to make homemade cookies or rustic bread. We’ve included a Vitamix blender, KitchenAid Stand Mixer, and Cuisinart Food Processer to allow cooking to be easier, allowing you to stay in vacation mode. You’ll also find an ever-growing specially curated selection of luxury tools and home goods like olivewood cutting boards, specialty olive oil, Maldon Sea salt, and a large spice collection for your use. Dining Room The dining room is just off the kitchen and seats six comfortably. This room features a large circular dining table made from reclaimed barn timbers with comfy dining chairs. It’s equally functional for relaxed meals, a formal dinner, or game night. We’ve carefully selected everything you need to enjoy a great meal including cloth napkins, silverware, wine glasses, water glasses, mugs, soup bowls, salad/dessert plates, dinner plates and seagrass chargers. You’ll also find large serving bowls perfect for salad or pasta, a set of rectangular serving trays and a couple of small serving bowls for dips or sauces. Living Room A cozy living room completes the open concept main floor and is centered on a river rock gas fireplace with large wooden beams. We’ve outfitted the living room with an oversized luxury Restoration Hardware linen couch, lounge chairs, and a coffee table. We have Pendleton wool blankets to cuddle up in and we’ve handpicked our favorite coffee table books for you to enjoy. The living room has lots of windows that provide great natural light and is great place to have happy hour, watch the local herd of Elk walk through the yard, read that book you’ve been looking forward to, or for taking a long-needed nap in front of the fire. Bedrooms & Bathroom Heading upstairs, we have two bedrooms and a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Both bedrooms are large and feature king-sized beds so you can stretch out and get comfy on the plush Purple mattresses with Boll and Branch organic cotton sheets. There is plenty of closet and dresser space for everything from a week’s getaway to a month’s sabbatical worth of clothes. We’ve also included a desk nook with a large desk and leather task chair in one of the bedrooms in case you’re working from the beach. Our bathrooms have been outfitted with Public Goods shampoo, conditioner, and body soap along with Parachute 100% Turkish cotton bath towels. Outdoor Area Our large grassy back yard includes an oversized deck with cedar Adirondack chairs, a gas KitchenAid grill that is big enough to BBQ for the neighborhood, and an outdoor dining area. Since we are located just steps from the beach, you’ll find beach chairs, towels, and a large wagon to easily take the fun to the beach for sunbathing, picnics, or a bon fire at night.
