The Cabin at Ellensee

A cosy cabin set on 32 acres of Maleny Heaven, nestled by a running stream and surrounded by pasture land and natural forest. 14 kms from Maleny, an idyllic township with award-winning restaurants and quaint country atmosphere. The space The Cabin is fully self-contained with a full kitchen complete with pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Cooking oil is supplied along with salt, pepper, tea, coffee and sugar. There is a separate bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity. Toilet paper is supplied. A queen size bed is located in the main area as in a studio apartment and a small, separate bedroom with double bunks is accessed off this area, ideal for young children to sleep close by but not be disturbed. This bedroom has roller blinds to control the level of light in the room. All bedding is supplied. You only need to bring food and drinks. A combustion stove is provided for those chilly Maleny winter nights. Firewood is supplied. There is an outdoor fire pit to stay warm while you watch the stars. Guest access Parking for The Cabin is at the door and there are no steps to negotiate to enter. The Cabin is located approx. 100 m from our home and is screened from view by a large shed. Guests are free to wander about our property if they so desire. Other things to note There is an unfenced farm dam approx. 30 m from The Cabin so vigilance is required if you have children.
