Third bedroom has a single bed which can be folded & used as secure bike storage. Perfect for large families, two couples sharing & cyclists. English speaking host gives you a personal welcome. The space There are three bedrooms with lots of storage space - two doubles, one with an extra single bed & a separate single room. A living room with balcony to give space to relax, whilst the kitchen & bathroom are attractive & modern. Free, fast wifi is available for your entertainment devices & there is a TV for local programming. Sunny yet cool in summer, whilst warm and cosy in winter, there are fans only, as with tree shade and good ventilation, air conditioning is not needed. There is ample free parking all around the apartment, whilst it is only a short walk from the bus and train stations of Girona. Buses run throughout the city but are rarely needed as it is so central. Our cycling guests always praise how convenient it is to major bike routes in the area. Just 1 hour from Girona you will find the many beaches of the Costa Brava, the mountains of Garrotxa, the three art museums of Dali and the French market of Ceret. Barcelona is only 35 minutes by AVE train. For children there is a play park for youngsters over the road, a basket ball court and in the Devesa Park an open air swimming pool in the summer. This apartment is registered with the Catalan Tourist Board so passport details will be required on arrival, however we will pay your Tourist Tax when applicable. Guest access The apartment is one of eight in a block owned by local people, so be a part of the real Catalonia. There are two short flights of 8 steps to the first floor and the apartment is one of only two on this floor. The elevator does not stop at the apartment's floor. Other things to note I lovingly restored the apartment and keep it in great condition. I appreciate any problems being passed on to me as quickly as possible so I can find a solution immediately. I lives an hour from my apartment I have reluctantly had to say late check-ins (after 9pm) will attract a 40€ penalty If I am not informed 24 hours ahead of time.
