We'll suggest places to visit and restaurants if you want to dine out. Cool off in the pool in summer or take an expertly led yoga class! Take a trip to Hastings or Napier or walk the miles of tracks in Te Mata Park. Ocean Beach is just 15 minutes away and the Sunday Farmers Market just 10! The space Top New Zealand architect Pete Bossley has exercised his considerable architectural magic and created a 50m2 masterpiece. The Pavilion must be the smallest building Pete has created for a client but it is an amazing space to inhabit and look at. We are fortunate that The Pavilion is sited in an existing landscape so it is settled into its space among mature trees and garden. As dedicated visitor accommodation we were required to make the building wheelchair accesible. Undaunted, Pete designed the ramp and bathroom with great flair so that they are integral design elements. With double glazing and state of the art insulation the Pavilion is super cosy in winter and sun-filled in year-round to provide a wonderful romantic rural retreat in any season. The wonderful cycle trails are a huge drawcard and we are fortunate to have a cycle/walk path on our boundary which gives our guests access to Havelock North village along the Karamu Stream - 10 minutes' walk/5 minutes' biking! our new yoga studio has daily Iyengar and Pilates classes. We offer The Best of Hawke's Bay in every season! Always a great destination to do lots, or just totally relax in a gorgeous setting. See you soon. Guest access The Pavilion was designed and built as a fully accessible unit. There is parking for several cars. Other things to note The Pavilion is secluded and rural yet very close to the village of Havelock North which has a great choice of places to eat and great boutique shops. All the main attractions of Hawke’s Bay are within 20 minutes' drive so a perfect base from which to explore the region. We supply coffee, tea, fresh fruit, eggs, muesli, bread and preserves for breakfast.
