Close to the Villages of Alaro and Santa Maria, Residencia Baranda is the ideal choice for those wishing to get away from all the hustle and bustle of typical seaside destinations. Bedrooms We have four delightful double bedrooms, three of them are situated on the front of the house and benefit from the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished with ‘designer beds’ and a mix of modern and old pieces collected over the years. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and ensuite shower rooms or baths. Living Room The elegant open plan living area is steeped in light due to its floor to ceiling doors and windows giving a very airy and spacious feel. The clever design of this “Finca” style property, allows for a wonderful breeze to travel through the living and ground floor area when the doors are opened up - perfect for those hot summer days. This gives the feeling of real open air luxury living. Antique furnishings, luxurious sofas, rugs and candlelit chandeliers all create a relaxed and calm ambiance. Kitchen and Dining The large open plan kitchen is equipped with modern appliances including electric hob and cooker, microwave, nespresso coffee machine, larder fridge/freezer and dishwasher together with everything else required to cater for you and your fellow guests. The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, steam iron and ironing board. The Gardens The gardens and terraces of Residencia Baranda offer a feast of choices for guests. Three acres of cultivated gardens surround the house containing secluded and shady terraces, seating areas and a ‘mirador’ terrace at the highest point from which to enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Four water features, two streams and ponds bring the garden to life and add to the tranquility and calmness of this very special location. Guest access You will have the whole house and grounds to yourself. Complete privacy. Other things to note Included in the rental: Weekly change of bed linen Towels used at the property, electricity and water The house is set within 3 acres of land so we have a gardener to keep things looking pretty and well maintained. He works on site Monday-Friday 8:00-14:00 but is very discrete so won't affect your stay. He cleans the pool and prepares the sun beds and terraces each morning so that you wake up to a clean pool and surrounding terrace area. Housekeeping and private chefs can also be arranged with the House Manager at an additional cost. We kindly ask our guests to keep the house neat and tidy. Your €2,000 deposit will be returned to you in the form it was paid once the house has been reviewed for any possible damages. Late Check-in's after 19:00 will have an additional charge for out of hours service of €30 paid on arrival. Late Check out can be arranged at an additional cost of half the nightly rate so please make this request known upon your enquiry to avoid disappointment.
