Historical half of a farmhouse, anno 1840, located on Rügen with a water view of the Bodden. Stylishly and high-quality renovated (the connection to a historic building was deliberately preserved), open beams, bright and modern with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two terraces, balcony and large natural garden for your own use, wallbox, property adjacent to fields that reach to the water. Perfect for rest and relaxation, nature, hiking, biking, fishing and relaxation by the sea. The space The historic farmhouse from 1840 has been lovingly, carefully and high-quality renovated, preserving individuality and value to a historic building. In addition to open beams, it has an open gallery. The bathrooms are designed with natural stone (Brazilian slate) and furnished with Philippe Starck sanitary objects. The walls are partially lined with clay bricks, provided with clay or high-quality mineral plaster, insulation was carried out exclusively with hemp. The bright and sun-drenched farmhouse has wooden parquet floors, in the kitchen a historic brick floor. A wrought-iron staircase, with oak treads (approximately 240 years old, salvaged from an old, abandoned school), leads up to an open gallery featuring a reading corner (the corresponding books are available in a book box) and a writing desk, offering a beautiful view over the vast, rural landscape. The second bedroom upstairs with roof terrace exit can be reached via the gallery, enjoy the view from here to the water and be enchanted by the breathtaking sunsets on the Bodden. The half farmhouse is located on a 2,500 square meter natural garden plot with adjacent fields. In the garden, you can enjoy the rustling leaves of an 180-year-old elm and pick cherries, pears, apples, plums or blackberries, depending on the season. You are also welcome to use a grill to grill freshly caught fish from the Bodden directly in the garden. (Boats can be rented in the neighboring village) In autumn/winter and spring you will enjoy the fireplace, which offers a wonderful and cozy feel-good climate in addition to warmth. A wallbox charging station is available for your electric vehicle, so I have fulfilled the wishes of many guests! Guest access Outside, sun loungers, chairs and tables and a parasol await you. A barbecue is also there – perfect for a relaxing evening outdoors. Just make yourself comfortable and enjoy the time. Other things to note Charging option for electric vehicles Many of our guests now travel by electric car – so we are very pleased to now be able to offer a wallbox directly at the house. Billing is completely transparent at the current electricity rate (2025 and 2026: 46 cents per kWh. If you would like to use the wallbox, please let us know a week before arrival. This allows us to ensure that the charging card is ready and everything works smoothly. ⸻ Tourist tax of the municipality of Ummanz Starting in summer 2026, the municipality of Ummanz will levy a tourist tax of €1.50 per adult per day. In this context, the check-in and check-out days are considered as one day. We are obliged to collect the tax and pass it on to the municipality. In order for us to register you and issue the digital tourist tax card, we need the names of all guests in advance. You can conveniently pay the corresponding amount of €1.50 per person per day via bank transfer.
