Purple House One Over The Water

Enjoy your own tropical garden terrace at the Purple House - Over The Water Rentals. Your home away from home in paradise. Views of the bay can be enjoyed from the communal sunset deck or wind down on yr covered garden deck with couch, dining table & hammocks. We have snorkel gear, kayaks, SUP's to use free. Close to town/airport in a safe rustic local neighborhood. 2 double aircon bedrooms, hot water shower, handmade organic soap, equipped kitchen & hi speed wifi. The space The Purple House 1 is alongside Purple House 2 and are a mirror of each other. Together they can be opened up into one large home. Each is rented separately or you can rent them both together. They share an outdoor balcony that is divided by plants to allow each to have it's own outdoor space. Purple House One has two bedrooms upstairs with the master bedroom having a walk in wardrobe. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning and fans. Downstairs you will find the kitchen with dining table for indoor eating. There is also a pantry for food, luggage and surfboard storage and a large sized bathroom with hot water shower. To the rear of the property is a tropical garden whilst to the front is a very large covered relaxation deck built over the water with ample dining and lounging space within a tropical garden setting. The Purple houses do not have unobstructed views of the bay as they are located behind the Orange house, but there are communal view decks open to our guests to relax on, suntan, spend time in the hammocks or just enjoy the sunsets and take in the views. The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge/freezer and a 4 burner stove and oven. Large double doors lead out onto the outside terrace which has a dining table and chairs, a large lounger as well as the all important hammocks. The large outdoor deck is covered by a high roof for protection from the sun whilst allowing for the cool breezes to pass through. We also have multiple kayaks on the property which are available for guests to make use of free of charge. We have recently got a bunch of Standup Paddle Boards for our guests to use for free and Bicycles too which can be rented at half price our usual rate. We can also provide snorkeling gear (free) if you want to kayak to the reefs or mangroves around the bay and snorkel a bit. And if you want to learn to surf, we have surfboards for rent too. We also have a communal deck which our guests can use which offers spectacular views across the bay to the mountains of the mainland. If Purple House One is booked up, check the dates for Purple House Two. We also have the Orange House which is located to the front of the Purple houses and has unobstructed views. All houses are closely linked by walkways and enjoy private and communal spaces on the property. Because of the uniqueness and beautiful environment of the property being built over the water. As you will be living directly over the water with limited barriers this home can be unsafe for children under 12 years old. House Rules:- 1. We are very much involved in the recycling that happens here on the island and kindly request our quests to be mindful of this also. This would mean taking further steps in separating and preparing recycling. 2. Please no outside guests on the property without our permission to ensure that all our guests are comfortable during their stay. During covid we request no guests at all. 3. And no entertaining and loud noise after 10pm at night. Our property is not for parties or gatherings due to the houses being close to each other in the neighborhood. We would love for you to come and relax and enjoy the tranquility of the bay with us. 4. Here on the island it is not recommended to drink the main water supply, so as a step to reducing our plastic bottle usage we have 5 gallon purified water containers available. 5. As another step to preserving the beautiful environment we live in, it is requested that electrical supplies such as, ac units, fans and wall plugs be turned off when leaving the property. Guest access Guests can access the property through one of two gates and with five houses on the property, each is linked with wooden walkways built over the water. We have multiple kayaks, both tandem and single on the property that are available free of charge to use and there is direct water access for boat pickups if you choose to take a private boat tour for bird watching, surfing or just to get to see the islands. Want to learn to surf, we have fun boards available on the property too. Other things to note COVID UPDATE: Unvaccinated people entering Panama from countries on the red list will be required to quarantine for 72 hours in a quarantine hotel. Please check your country is not on the red list prior to booking with us if you are not vaccinated. Vaccinated travels will only need to present a negative test on arrival. Arriving early or need to leave later than check in and check out time? No problem, we can store your luggage securely and you have full access to our front over the water deck to relax on. Saigon Bay is a rustic, authentic third world neighborhood with a colorful collection of wonderful people. If you are looking for a resort atmosphere, then this is not for you, but if you are wanting to see how locals enjoy and experience their island, then by all means come enjoy the island with us. As houses in our neighbourhood are very close to each other, we kindly request that no outside guests are invited onto the property and that our guests be considerate of neighbours and other guests after 10pm and when returning home after a night out. It should also be noted that our property could be unsafe for children under the age of 12. Our property is over the water with no barrier or gate between the docks and the water, therefore we ask for no children under the age of 12.
