The space Our beautiful duplex villa sits on a one-half mile white sand beach that is quiet & less crowded beach overlooking the crystal clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Our villa offers two floors with ample space for you and the family to spread out. Villa is good for couples, solo adventurers, small families. Let the sights, sounds, and breeze lull you into tranquility! As soon as you walk in the front door you’ll find our condo opens up into a lovely living area, but the first thing you will notice is the beautiful sweeping ocean and down island views right out in front of you! On the main floor you’ll find a full kitchen, dining area, living room (with queen-sized sleeper sofa), and full bathroom. Our kitchen and dining area provide you with everything thing you need to make a meal, all the while enjoying the ocean right in front of you. For your ease, we stock our kitchen with all the utensils, cookware, and common staples such as coffee, sugar, creamer, spices, oil, vinegar, etc. Upstairs owners retreat provides a comfortable, relaxing master suite with beautiful view of the ocean from the second patio. A brand new TemperPedic King-sized bed, a sitting area that includes another Queen-sized sleeper sofa and another full sized bathroom.   Both floors have beautiful large private patios with full wall sliding doors that open up to airy balconies with awesome views of St. John and the British Virgin Islands. Views from the balcony are spectacular. Tropical easterly winds cool your seascape retreat as the majestic view of St. John’s Island is just beyond the horizon. Villa is fully equipped with cable television on both floors, linens and towels (both bath and beach), hair dryers and cooler for your trips to the beach. Sapphire Beach is one of the most gorgeous beaches on St. Thomas offering you some of the best snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing, parasailing & fishing. Enjoy complimentary beach chairs (ask attendant). If you feel like something besides the ocean, we also have a beautiful fresh water bi-level pool that sits on the edge of the water. Just outside our door you’ll also find the Sapphire Marina, which conveniently offers numerous excursions and charters. The resort has beach bar and grill which serves tropical refreshments, coffee shop and restaurants for your convenience. Our condo complex is a gated property with 24/7 security and is located a mile from Red Hook, which offers numerous restaurants and shops, as well as the ferry dock for trips to St. John and the BVI. The condo on Sapphire Beach was even better than we imagined. The gorgeous Beach was just steps away, and Scott the beach attendant was always available to help with beach chairs or local tips. The two balconies are the cherry on top - incredible panoramic views of St. John and other islands. Sapphire beach bar is right on the beach at the end of the property - big open air bar with skilled bartenders, beach games, and yummy snacks. The reef is right off the beach, and the snorkeling is incredible. It was very convenient to have the equipment provided at the property. Only tip is to bring water shoes - the beautiful beach is quite rocky at the waters edge. And don't forget sunscreen - the sun is strong and sunscreen at the property store is expensive. There is a taxi stand located on property which was very easy to get a shared taxi into Redhook for dinner or groceries- $4 per person and a 3 minute drive. ★★★★★ 5 stars by Bethany - July 2019 This is a great place to stay! The pictures and description are very accurate and even better in person. The view, location and condo were amazing. We had a great time on the beautiful beach and enjoyed getting to know the friendly staff at the coffee shop and beach bar which both have great food and drinks! It is also so close to Redhook. We took the taxi in three times, twice to eat and once to take the ferry to St. John. Jeanne was an excellent and friendly host! We definitely look forward to staying here again. Free on-site parking On the beach, guests enjoy complimentary beach chairs / loungers daytime only (beach attendant will help setup beach loungers) A multi-level pool overlooks the sea and has the best views of St. John that St. Thomas has to offer. There is also a shallow level of the pool that is perfect for kids. For adults, some of the island’s best entertainment can be found at the brand new Sapphire Beach Bar. It sits directly on Sapphire Beach, and offers delicious food and drinks in a laid-back environment with stunning ocean views. Other things to note The property has 24 hour security & gated entrance. The Beach Buzz, a new deli, is just steps away and offers coffee and breakfast items, sandwiches, smoothies, frozen yogurt, and sundries. Just a short walk up the hill is the newly renovated Sudi’s Caribbean Bar and Grill at Sapphire Village. It’s a casual pool-side restaurant offering traditional American food and pizza. We also have Sapphire Marina which offers many exciting excursions such as day sails, snorkeling trips, and jet ski rentals.
