The space Southwest decor mostly, vintage dining set seats 8, spacious bedrms. The house has charming vintage lodge atmosphere with artwork from around the world, family photos. Beautiful natural setting in the mountains, wrap-round deck with big Ponderosa pine trees, privacy, just 10 min. from downtown Durango w/shopping, restaurants, theatre. Guest access Main & top floors with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, sleeps 8 > 2 Queen beds, 1 King, 1 bunk bed. A fenced yard if you bring a dog. There is a ground floor apartment separate from guest lodge with year-round tenant.. Other things to note WINTER GUESTS: 4 wheel or front wheel drive vehicle REQUIRED to get up and down 500" steep occasionally icy driveway which is kept well plowed. GENERAL: Plenty of bed & bath linen, kitchen ware, pots, pans, microwave, electric coffee & tea pot, dining table seats 8, spacious bedrooms, big living room with TV, wrap around deck for relaxing, picnic table on deck in summer, BBQ, patio. PERFECT place for family reunions or vacation. We supply initial TP, paper towels to get you going. SUMMER GUESTS: No A/C in house as it never gets that hot, floor fans provided in bedrooms for air circulation.
