Set among an exotic botanical garden and acres of California open space, guests are surrounded by the serenity of nature. High ceilings light the majestic living space which includes a bar area with ice machine, wine fridge and utility sink; dining area with separate sitting area; stone hearth fireplace; 70″ 3D flat screen TV and sound system w/ built separate indoor/outdoor speaker system controlled by I pad with Sonos and Pandora. Kitchen is fully equipped with high-end kitchen equipment. Glass doors line the front of the house for a spectacular view of world-class botanical gardens and beautiful terraced patio. Two bedrooms and two baths sleep four people. Each bedroom has a King size bed. This lovely property is available for workshops, small events, photos shoots, retreats ect…Located 15 minutes away from downtown Ojai in the foothills above Lake Casitas this location is perfect for the traveler in search of beauty, serenity and escape from the ordinary. Pets welcome with $50 non refundable pet fee and larger damage deposit. Guest access Taft Garden and hiking trails from your front door. Other things to note There is a 8% County Tax/Non Profit Fee that guests have to pay separately from Airbnb. Airbnb does not collect tax's for property owners. You will be responsible for the additional 8% fee prior to your arrival and before keys and instructions for checking in will be given. NO MORE THAN 4 GUESTS AND 4 CARS ARE ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY AT ANY ONE TIME...ALL VISITORS MUST BE APPROVED BY MANAGEMENT. Conditions: Advertising. The rental property is for private rental use. Renter SHALL NOT use “Eco Garden House”, “Taft Gardens”, “Conservation Endowment Fund” or the property’s physical address, name or image in any published advertising or other publication Renter may not distribute gate code to any unauthorized or unregistered guest. Non-registered visitors Visitors require individual prior approval by Ojai Valley Escapes. Parties, gatherings or other social events with additional guests that are not registered guests are strictly prohibited. Solar Power The Eco Garden House is fully Solar-Powered. Please keep all power usage to an absolute minimum to ensure maximum efficiency. Please turn off all lights when leaving the house, use the air conditioning only when necessary and do not run for more than two hours at a time and turn off all electronics when not in use. Keys Depending on Guests’ renting needs, guest will be provided with appropriate keys to building. There will be a $50 fee for every key lost. Guest will be provided a code for lock box Due to very high fire danger outdoor fires are not allowed anywhere on the premises. Guests may use Indoor Fireplace. Firewood is not provided. Due to possible heavy rainfall in the winter months, the road to or from the property may not be accessible by car. No refunds will be given in such a case.
