The Oar by the Bay is the perfect couples retreat, enjoy the sunset from your private entertaining deck, stroll to the renowned Patonga Boathouse, or enjoy hiking up the Great North Walk to the breathtaking Warrah Lookout. Patonga offers beachside living on one side as well as the quiet waters of the lagoon on the other. This space is designed to provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all ages. Dogs considered upon request. The space This Beautifully styled self-contained private guest suite is located next to the iconic Patonga camping ground. Surrounded by water, The Oar by the bay is located a short stroll from the beach as well as Patonga creek, tennis courts, nature walks, and a playground for kids. The property has dual frontage, two rooms, two grassy areas, and two outdoor decks, complete with a generous daybed and private outdoor bathtub. The property includes AC, WIFI, a Smart TV with Foxtel, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and quality linen. Patonga became home to my husband David and I (Natalie) a few years ago when we decided to move from Sydney to enjoy a more quiet, peaceful life by the beach. My daughter Isabella helps me host and looks after the property when we are away on travels. We have all fallen in love with this little town and love to host holiday seekers and avid travellers alike in hopes that others will enjoy it here as much as we do. Guest access This dual frontage property has plenty of parking on both Bay Street and Patonga Street - including access to a shared driveway that fits two cars. You will be able to have access to both sides of the property depending on which side you park. For safe parking on the driveway, please drive down Patonga Street. The last house on the left just before the caravan park is 86. You can park on the right side of the driveway and access the property through the sliding door. Other things to note Please note that the space is a guest suite made up of the entire ground level of a two-story home. For this reason you may hear occasional footsteps from upstairs or other noises e.g the garage door opening. We do not accept bookings of more than 4 adults at any one time. The place has a lot fragile decor and some prickly cactus must be careful with children. As this is our primary home, the house is not suitable for parties, events, or schoolies and we thank you for not smoking on the property. Dogs considered upon request.
