Delightful self contained annexe in the village of Mark Cross with private entrance and parking. The recently renovated property sits within the garden of our family home so you might see a friendly cockapoo and a couple of children scampering about at times. Great local pub and garden centre with cafe within walking distance and plenty of beautiful country walks nearby. Perfect base for exploring other local villages and places of interest such as Scotney Castle, Ashdown Forest and Bewl Water. The space The Annexe is a charming converted garage and in keeping with the main house, a 17th Century cottage. It has recently been renovated with a new bathroom and fresh coat of paint throughout. Inside it's decked out with original artwork and antique touches. Complimentary breakfast is provided and consists of fruit, yogurt, granola, juice, bread, milk, tea & coffee and condiments. There is also an honesty 'drinks tray' with Whisky and Gin & Tonic for night caps. There is a hugely comfortable kingsize bed, shower room with basin & WC, comfy armchairs, small bureau, dining space and WIFI. There are no cooking facilities but the property is kitted out with a toaster, kettle & small fridge (no takeaways please). Outside there is a table and chairs available to enjoy the afternoon sun. An iron & ironing board can be provided on request.
