Our 1 bedroom cabin is perfect for the quick trip to the mountains or a romantic getaway. Located minutes from Lakes Basin and the Majestic Sierra Buttes. Welcome to The Lost Sierra. Play all day then warm yourself by the wood stove fire, curled up with a book, or enjoy dinner & shopping in Graeagle, 4 mins away. If outdoor activities bring you here, enjoy hiking trails, biking and kayaking. We are just 2 blocks from the Feather River, grab your fishing pole and a beverage and catch dinner. The space You are entering a rustic 1917 Cabin. This is said to be one of the original buildings in Clio. While it is rustic on the outside, it has been remodeled/ updated on the inside. Our 1 bedroom cabin has a wood stove, 2 thermostat wall heaters in the bedroom and in the laundry, and portable heater for cold evenings or chilly mornings, a full kitchen with most items for cooking, along with a mini 5 cup coffee pot and electric teapot with your choice of teas. A full bathroom with tub & shower just off the bedroom. When stepping out of the tub, be careful the floor is lower than the the tub. We have high speed fiber optic internet service, so if you must work you will not miss a beat. Log onto the smart, Roku TV and enjoy your favorite Netflix shows. There is a washer and dryer on the enclosed back porch just off the kitchen. Original rustic hardwood floors lead to the small back porch and back yard where you can enjoy the electric barbecue stored in the woodshed. Be careful of the loose floorboards. We have a small selection of books and a few games to enjoy if you choose. Or just take a nice nap on the queen size bed and super soft sheets. Sit in the kitchen at the table and do a little work while watching the family of deer wander through the neighborhood. Guest access Our cabin is located in a small established neighborhood. There is a driveway that will fit 2 cars easily. Please be mindful of the neighbors and do not block any driveways or park on the grass. To get around town: Take your car, or head into Graeagle and rent a bike. Lots of easy biking around Clio, Blairsden and Graeagle. Take in the beauty and the fresh mountain air while site seeing or heading off to your favorite eatery. Access to the cabin is available through our self check in smart lock. Code will be delivered prior to your arrival. Other things to note The cabin is old, so there are squeaky floors, kitchen cabinet drawers are not soft close drawers. We have single pane windows and some of the windows do not open as they have been painted shut over the years. The kitchen window and the bedroom window open and provide a nice cross breeze in the summer time to help cool down the house. We have several fans throughout the home to move the air during the warmer months to assist in keeping you cool. The floor in the bathroom is lower than the tub so please be careful getting in and out.
