Gladys, Double Decker Bus Glamping Accommodation

Gladys is our double decker bus, set in a wooded cove of the field with wood fired soaking tub. The ground floor has wood burning stove, kitchen, gas cooker, fridge freezer, stove kettle, shower room through the fire exit door, TV/DVD player (suitable for DVD playing only,) original bus features, driving seat & bus lighting. The first floor has double cupboard bed, single bed & double bedroom. Also included USB charging points & 5AMP plug sockets, picnic bench & deck chairs. Two dogs welcome. The space Gladys is our converted double decker bus providing self catering, glamping accommodation. She sleeps 5 with double bedroom to the rear, double cupboard bed and single cabin bed. Set back in a wooded cove of the field with views across the field and out to the open countryside. She provides the perfect place for a quirky family stay. To the ground floor she has wood burning stove with complementary basket of logs, kitchen with gas cooker, fridge freezer, stove kettle, all crockery and cooking utensils, shower room accessed via the original fire exit door, TV/DVD player (no aerial or wifi, suitable for DVD playing only,) original bus features including driving seat and bus lighting. To the first floor she has double cupboard bed to the front, single cabin bed and double bedroom to the rear with bedding and blankets and wardrobes. She also benefits from charcoal BBQ, USB charging points and 5AMP plug sockets, picnic bench with parasol and deck chairs. -We can accommodate one infant under 2 free of charge and provide travel cot Up to 2 dogs welcome for an additional £20. Gladys has a wood fired soaking tub which provides the perfect place to relax whilst taking in the view of the field. After your journey just light the wood burner and pour yourself a drink whilst the water heats, this takes between 1 to 2 hours depending on how hot you burn the stove, once your tub is up to temp just stir with the giant paddle and sink into the relaxing warm water. When you're done simply pop on the lid and then it will take less heating time when you're ready to get back in. Its a truly special experience creating the fire that heats your tub. Guest access Gladys has 2 parking spaces available in the car park at the bottom of the field. Other things to note The car park is located at the bottom of the field, you need to leave your car there and walk to your accommodation. Gladys is located at the bottom of the field just a short distance from the car park. There is a shed at the bottom of the field containing beach equipment and outdoor games, you’re more than welcome to borrow these through out your stay. We also have animals on site donkeys, chickens and ducks. We do not provide towels, please bring your own. In low temperature weather conditions there is a possibility of pipes freezing resulting in limited or no water access. The only heating is provided by the wood burning stove inside.
