Relaxing Cottage in Roxburgh

This newly built and furnished cottage located 1.5 km from the centre of Roxburgh is ideally located for exploring the Central Otago region. It is an open plan cottage with very comfortable living space and a large lawn to enjoy the Otago sunshine. The cottage is located opposite the local golf course and 2km/7minutes from the Clutha Gold Cycle Trail and Roxburgh Gorge Trail. The trail is well positioned for enjoying the many outdoor activities, sight seeing and exploring the Otago valley. The space This is a newly built cottage with a fully fitted kitchen (excluding a dishwasher), bathroom with a shower and an open living space with wood burning stove. There are two bedrooms, one with a Queen bed the other with two sets of bunk beds ie 4 single beds. Therefore it is recommended that the cottage is only suitable for a maximum of 4 Adults but is perfectly suitable for 6 people provided that 2 of them are children. There is a laundry room with a new washing machine, laundry powder, pegs, clothes horse & also a retractable clothes line outside. There is an outside deck and a large lawn area to enjoy. It is a secluded space set back from the road with views out to the hills across the Clutha valley. Also outside is a shed for secure space to store your bikes. There is a extension cable and multi plug for ebike charging. Power source is from within the Cottage. There is also a bucket and washing accessories plus a hose outside. There is additional wood in the covered in wood stack area outside the kitchen window. Guest access The cottage is entirely for the use of guests. Glen and Sue do not live on site but are readily available by phone or email to help with any questions. There is a lock box on the deck with a key for access to the cottage and also there is a key for the bike storage shed so bikes etc can be stored securely. The covered in wood shelter is located outside the Kiitchen window. Other things to note There is plenty of space on the lawn for parking but please note the driveway to the cottage is quite steep. There are four steps up onto the wooden deck and a small step into the front door. Also please note there is no Wifi or TV in the cottage, but there is good free WiFi available at the information centre in the centre of Roxburgh (1.5km from the cottage). There is excellent phone coverage at the cottage.
