Description
Our cozy tiny mountain cabin is located on 2 acres, 30 min from Boulder, Golden, Nederland, Eldora ski resort and 50 min from downtown Denver. This is a great place to relax, ski, hike, ride a bike/horse, ATV, fish and use our private sauna after all day exploring beautiful Colorado. Enjoy our lovely setting with wildlife, mountain views surrounded by aspen and pine trees. The space Our cozy tiny cabin sits on 2 acres in a beautiful mountain scenery in Coal Creek Canyon, just far enough from town to truly relax, being surrounded by wildlife and peace, but close enough to Denver metro area. Our tiny cabin was custom built from the design to final project with custom kitchen furniture, recycled wood flooring and more. We added a lovely deck so you can watch the sky at night, sip your coffee or tea outside in the morning or just chill after a long day of hiking or skiing in our secluded infrared sauna. We also added a wood burning stove for our guests to spend some quality time in front of. Our main house is on the same property, but don't worry, we always respect our guest's privacy so you might not see us, unless we're needed for anything... The bedroom/sleeping loft area is a typical tiny house 'crawling' space (around 5' tall), so you may not be able to stand up and it is set up with that in mind. The stairs are steep, but sturdy. Our bathroom and kitchen are equipped with separate tankless water heaters and the water pressure is a bit lower then you might be used to in your own house (set to about 2gpm), but it still plenty to have a nice hot shower. We also installed a top of the line European eco waterless toilet (Separett’s latest), it is easy to use and good for the environment! Our place is also perfect for your romantic getaway! We truly believe that all tiny house lovers, hikers, rock-climbers, skiers, fishermen, mountain bikers, motorcycle riders, artists, musicians or writers will find our place just perfect! Guest access There is a lock-box by the door, the day before your arrival we will provide you with all the details necessary (combination code, parking arrangement, directions, etc.). Other things to note *You would need 4x4 car from October to April, we will be plowing our driveway when needed but fall, winter and springs months in Colorado can be tricky and a 4x4 or AWD is recommended. *Cell phone coverage is spotty around here and in the canyon, so please print directions, door code and other details that might be needed before your arrival (there's high speed fiber wifi in the house). *No open fires - we need special permit from Fire Dept. to have any kind of open fires (including coal grill), due to very high risk of wildfires. Propane grill is OK (provided to you). *Smoking is allowed only outside (deck is OK), but PLEASE make sure to use water filled ash-trays. *There is no big grocery store around here (only a gas station with limited supplies of food, drinks etc.), and the closest well stocked store is a King-soopers, about 20 minutes East (14967 Candelas pkwy, Arvada, co 80007). *There is no public transportation up here, also Uber and Lyft services can be limited, unless you schedule your trip in advance. * Please do not leave any food outside, as we often see wild animals around here (bears, deers and many more). *On the left side of the cabin, there is a small open storage unit for your skis, snow boots and such, plus some wood for our wood burning stove - you are welcome to use it! * If the fridge or freezer is not big enough for your drinks, there is an outdoor cooler for your drinks by the propane grill. * Non potable water (well water), please bring your water jugs for drinking.
