"Bellevue" cottage has simply one of the most stunning views that you will ever see on the banks of the famous Helmsdale salmon river and of the hills beyond. The cottage is all on one level and has no internal stairs or steps. The view from the living room has to be seen to be believed. For the fisherman there is three quarters of a mile of excellent fly water with some reliable fish-holding pools; permits for fishing is available in the local village shop "Glencoast" for Lower Helmsdale known as the "Town Water". There is also a 9 hole golf course literally on the doorstep. The village itself, which is only a few minutes walk, has The Timespan Heritage Centre, pubs and restaurants, cafes and shops including the La Mirage restaurant known throughout the Highlands.
