Mas Carbó, a 16th century farmhouse equipped with all the comforts comforts of the 21st century. Enjoy the tranquility of the countryside in the Alt Empordà, 20 minutes from St Martí d'Empúries and 10 minutes from Figueres. We have an outdoor space for barbecues, a swimming pool, a ping-pong table, a pool table, an indoor fireplace, several areas for eating and relaxing, a kitchen equipped with everything you need, and an indoor patio where you can shelter from the Tramuntana. All set for a good stay without leaving home. The space THE EXTERIOR: The farmhouse is surrounded by 1500 m² of fully fenced outdoor area to ensure the privacy and safety of the little ones. You will find a large 9.5 x 4.5 m outdoor saltwater pool, a free parking space, a barbecue area and several spaces to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. THE HOUSE: The farmhouse is distributed on two floors. On the ground floor you will find the entrance, two bathrooms, a dining room located in an old restored block and an interior courtyard where you can shelter from the tramuntana. The upper floor is distributed from a large open and diaphanous space where there is the kitchen (fully equipped); the dining room with a large table with a capacity of up to 20 people; the living room with sofa area, 65" smart TV and a fireplace; and a recreational space with a large bookstore, billiards and bar furniture. From this space you can access two bathrooms (we offer ice, shampoo and towels for all guests) and the five bedrooms: four of them with a double bed and a large bedroom with 3 bunk beds. To get around the area, it's important to have a vehicle. Other things to note The house is located in a rural environment, surrounded by crop fields. At certain times of the year, especially during fertilization, occasional odors from the neighboring farm may be noticed, depending on how the wind blows.
