Our cottage is situated in the rural hamlet of Brushfield, between Buxton and Bakewell in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District National Park. We are on the edge of Monsal Dale and situated up a quiet country lane, on a sunny south facing hillside, with outstanding views across open landscapes, high above Taddington Dale. It is an idyllic setting, surrounded by fields and woodland, providing peace and tranquillity yet central to all the attractions of the Peak District. The space Spacious lounge with beamed ceiling and traditional log burning stove (an initial supply of fuel is provided). Tastefully decorated and furnished and contains a piano, TV, DVD, video player and wi-fi access. Entrance porch area with grit stone flag floor, ideal for storing coats and wet boots. Large farm style dining kitchen with fully fitted units. Well equipped with hob, oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Slate floor, pine and oak beams. Large attractive double bedroom with exposed roof trusses and an external door to the patio area. Twin bedroom has a beamed ceiling. Bathroom and WC / Separate shower room and WC. Shared launderette facilities. The sunny patio has furniture and a barbecue. Ample parking. Linen and towels provided. Cot and high chair are available. Guest access All areas of the property and most areas of the surrounding grounds. Other things to note You will find a welcome letter on kitchen table containing all the domestic information that might be useful during your stay.
