Luxury two bedroom cottage with views near Cardiff

Y Guddfan - The Hideaway. Modern two bedroom cottage sat on the western slopes of The Garth with views for miles. Ideal location for walkers and those looking for a quiet break, but with easy access to Cardiff, the Brecon Beacons and the beaches of South Wales. Many of our guests stay for just one night to attend an event at the Principality Stadium, a wedding or a night at Acapela Studio. Almost all of these guests tell us they wish they'd booked two nights - it's worth giving it some thought! The space Self contained cottage with its own entrances and amenities. Guests can also use the meadow and the picnic table which enjoys views of the Rhondda Valley. The master bedroom has a king size bed, with two single beds in the second bedroom. There is a sofa bed in the lounge if needed. The lounge has a contemporary design with a wood burning stove (wood provided). The Smart TV has access access to BBC iPlayer, Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube and Disney and there's also a PS4 and DVD player. There's also a library of DVDs and PS4 games too. The bathroom features a large walk-in shower. A washing machine is located in the utility area which doubles as a drying room. The cottage is fuelled by solar PV (during the day) and water is heated by the two thermal solar panels on the cottage roof. During the spring and summer the cottage is mostly self-sufficient in terms of it's power. It is also very well insulated. Guest access There is parking for several cars directly in front of property. Drive up the driveway and through the wooden gate and turn left towards Y Guddfan. Other things to note Y Guddfan is a self-contained property within the grounds of Soar Cottage which is home to a family of five and two very friendly cats. Guests should be aware that wifi, water, electricity and waste services are shared with the main house.
