Description
Our house is a rambling old Victorian with high ceilings and large windows. We have three bedrooms on the second floor, which are exclusively used for guests. The Hampton room is our only en-suite guest room, with its own tiny shower/bathroom. We are still making some updates to our rooms, so some features may be different: please note, this room no longer has its own mini fridge and has been painted a blue-gray. *We do not serve breakfast. The shared guest lounge has a Keurig & electric kettle The space We purchased this historic home in October 2021 and have been consistently making improvements. It retains all the charms of an old home, including squeaky floors ☺️ Guest access In our "Star Lounge" common room, you'll find a Keurig, electric kettle, microwave and mini fridge, a common TV, reading chairs, and a desk. Outside, there is ample park-like space of our 2-acre backyard to enjoy, with multiple fire pits and seating areas. During your stay We are moving to Denmark in July 2025, and will generally not be around to interact with guests. However, a property manager will be on call to help with anything that comes up. Other things to note This room faces Main St., so if you prefer a quieter room, you might opt for the Hunt or Meadow rooms, which face the backyard. The room features a noise machine and a quiet mini-split cooling system, which cuts down on street noise. We accept well-behaved dogs. Please include them in your reservation (there is a $35 pet fee for one dog).
