Bakery Cottage St Agnes
Description
Right in the heart of beautiful St Agnes, Bakery Cottage is ideally placed to explore the National Trust Coastal Path, try a spot of surfing just a short walk away at the local beach or simply relax and enjoy the delights of this vibrant village. Truro is 20 minutes away, the Gothic revival cathedral surrounded by galleries and independent stores, Newquay with some of the UK's best surfing is 45 minutes up the coast and St Ives, artistic hub and home to the Tate ideally placed for a day trip. The space Once you're here there is no need to leave, we have a selection of cracking pubs and restaurants as well as a butcher, grocer, chemist, newsagent etc. St. Agnes is bustling throughout the year with numerous community events, from the Easter Sunday dog race fundraiser for St Agnes Surf Lifesaving Club culminating in the annual carnival on the first Saturday in August. The cottage is most suitable for adults without mobility issues as the stairs to the first floor are without a handrail. Children are very welcome, we have some ourselves, but as there is a wood burning stove we cannot recommend for really little ones. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the entire cottage with the sole exception being our tiny office tucked away at the back of the property. Other things to note Your beloved dog can also come to stay at Bakery Cottage but must be booked in and there is a one off charge. There is undoubtedly more to do to restore Bakery Cottage to the immaculate condition we are known for after we have had a canine guest - hence the charge for them to stay. As stated a well behaved dog is welcome but should there be any unanticipated cleaning to do we will have to retain your deposit so please ensure that your pooch knows their boundaries! Our check in/out day, during the summer season is a Friday meaning you get to avoid the worst of the traffic on the A30 at the start and finish of your break.
