Our tree Cabin : 20 minutes from Rouen and only 2 hours from Paris The Domaine de Fontaine Châtel offers an unplugged stay in the heart of the trees in one of 10 cabins (no water, no electricity) which blend perfectly into their environment. Perched between 2 and 12 meters from the ground, these cabins offer a breathtaking view of the canopy and total immersion in nature. For adventure-seekers, two of our cabins can be accessed via sporting adding a touch of adrenalin to your stay. The space The “Terriers” hut is a cosy nest on the edge of the forest, in a secluded oak tree above badger and fox burrows. It faces due west and enjoys a beautiful view over the fields. Perched 10 meters above the ground, access is recommended for lovers of acrobatic courses at heights, as it consists of a 55-meter-long zip line that takes you down to a platform beneath the hut, where you then take a suspended ladder to reach it. A second 40 m zip line takes you back to the mainland. It's advisable to arrive during the day to discover the access. If you're prone to vertigo, don't! We like the original access, perfect for sports enthusiasts, and its privacy.
