Our picture-perfect thatched-roof house fits perfectly into our romantic village full of other thatched-roof houses, an inn and a historic church, just like in a Rosamunde Pilcher movie. Completely renovated only a few years ago and comfortably furnished in a modern country style, the house has everything to offer that the body and mind desire on vacation. Located in the dreamy and undisputed most beautiful jewel of the Schlei, Sieseby, the filming location of many series such as "Der Landarzt" and the novel, the house is just steps from the idyllic jetty and the Schlei bathing spot. The Baltic Sea can also be reached in just 10 minutes by car and offers some excursion destinations with Kappeln, Maasholm, Damp, Eckernförde, Flensburg, Kiel and Olpenitz. The house has a large garden with unobstructed views of the Schlei and the surrounding fields, two terraces that invite you to roast marshmallows or stick bread with friends and family, an invitingly open, bright and cozy living and kitchen area with a kitchen bar - also with enchanting views of the Schlei. In short: a place that immediately puts you in a peaceful and relaxed state. Sieseby has a very peaceful aura and is perfect for coming down and relaxing. Just a weekend in Sieseby feels like a week's vacation elsewhere. At the Obsthof Stubbe, you can pick strawberries, raspberries, apples, cherries and more with a view of the Schlei. Every Wednesday and Saturday, one of the most beautiful weekly markets in Germany takes place in Eckernförde – the whole thing with French flair under old plane trees on the church square. The harbor of Kappeln invites you to stroll and eat fish. For a little more "big city" feeling, Kiel city center can be reached within 20 to 30 minutes by car. For art enthusiasts, the museum island of Gottorf is just the thing. However, you can also work out well here. Modern gyms, large sauna areas and wave pool overlooking the sea in Damp, one of the most beautiful cycling routes and swimming spots in Germany right outside the door, many riding stables, tennis courts and a jet ski rental provide entertainment and action.
