Country Retreat: Indoor Pool/Pickle Ball/Sleeps 12

ATTENTION: Our home is over 3500 square feet located on a 21 acre parcel. If you are looking for a quiet, private location, this is it! The home is nestled in the back of a pasture flanked by wooded areas on both sides and a barn located near the front entrance. The property includes plenty of outdoor parking. Hard to justify with any one photo. The property is spacious and includes an attached indoor heated pool and Pickle Ball/Sport court. A charming, picturesque place for all to enjoy. The space Enjoy the outdoors with an evening fire at the fire pit or just overlooking the 21 acre property from the upstairs balcony. The heated indoor pool offers 24/7 access. The attached, (key coded), indoor pool allows access anytime without having to endure the outdoor elements and will keep the little ones from wandering in on their own. As of December 2023 we have installed a Pickle Ball and sport court. Our sport court has outdoor lighting and can be used at night without disturbing the neighbors given the secluded location. Choose from a private deck or the two large picture windows in the living room to watch a variety of wildlife including deer, eagles, hawks, fox, wild turkey and other wildlife to make this stay one to remember! If you like to bike or hike, you can explore the best trails as you are only a mile away from from the Rails to Trails designated trail head. (Check out Rails to Trails near Sarver, PA for more information). If you are a mountain biker or ride ATV's you may choose to enjoy the trails throughout the wooded area of our property. (Ride at your own risk). We are a 35-40 minute drive to downtown Pittsburgh. Our home is ideal for large or multiple families. For parties of 10 or more, and depending on sleeping arrangements, you may need to utilize the two queen air mattresses that are available. We have towels, sheets and pillows for parties of up to 12. The following fees do apply: *Cleaning Fee: $275 *Pet Fee: $200 (maximum two pets). (Additional cleaning fees may be applied if pet damages or soils any furniture or areas inside) *Taxes will be applied per local and state rates from the Airbnb site and will be included in your final charges. For years this home was a long term rental for us. In the late summer of 2021 we decided to fully furnish the home and add it to the the Airbnb platform. It is a 'Work in progress' for us and we are always adding new items or amenities for our guests including the new Pickleball sport court, and an EV (Electric Vehicle) charger! Our indoor heated pool is maintained year-round for your private use. The sport court can be used for Pickleball, basketball, volley ball and badminton! We have over 15 bicycles to choose from for all ages. We also provide many other outdoor games for you to enjoy on this beautiful, spacious, 21 acre property. Please note that our workout/office area in the lower level was recently converted to a kids room that includes a large TV, three twin beds, and a pull out sofa (full bed) with a chase. This space can easily sleep 5-6 kids or extra adult guests. Guest access Our location is surrounded by farms and a few single family homes near the entrance of the property. We have over 8 parking spaces available if you choose to drive and or are towing a boat or ATV's. We are approximately 30-40 minutes to downtown Pittsburgh. There are grocery stores and restaurants within a 5 mile radius. Please note that the entrance to the property is very narrow so please be careful especially at night if pulling a trailer or if traveling in an extended vehicle. Once you drive up to the property there are plenty of spots available for extra vehicles. Other things to note For the golfers in the family we have four par 3 holes ranging from 80 yards to 175 yards. Golf balls and mat will be provided. We do ask that you hit off the golfing tee mat that is provided. Feel free to bring your own clubs as there are over 34 courses within a 20 mile radius. If you enjoy frisbee golf we have three portable frisbee golf bins that are already set up for your enjoyment. (This also includes two sets of discs that include drivers, mid range and putter frisbees). There is plenty of land to enjoy this sport on our 21 acre property. The property includes a newly installed lighted sport court currently set up for pickle ball. (Pickle balls and paddles included). It can also be used for basketball, volleyball and badmitten. We also have outdoor games including horse shoes, corn hole, slip n slide, and an axe throwing game that is safe for all ages. Plan on bicycling? We provide a variety of bikes for all ages for you to enjoy. This is included with your stay. Our home now has 3 full bathrooms and 2 half baths. The third full bathroom is located in the indoor pool area. Please note that because of our remote location, the property is fed by a well and and on a septic sewer system. There may be limits to the volume or pressure of water produced at one time for larger parties. Extra towels, sheets and pillows are available along with a sofa bed and two queen size air mattresses for parties up to 12 guests. As of April 2024 we recently installed a Sonos sound system that is set up throughout the home to play music. Guest will need to download the Sonos app to listen to music at our home. This system includes a mobile speaker that can be used at the sport court, pool and fire pit area.
