Glamping Getaway at “The Homestead at Rocky Acres" is in the heart of the Ozarks in a quiet country setting. This adorable tiny home offers updated, fun decor and is kept very clean. Enjoy amazing views/sunsets from various scenic points around the 143 acre property! For the early risers, you can typically catch a sunrise off the back wooded area of the site. PLEASE NOTE: WE NO LONGER OFFER THE POOL/HOT TUB AS AN AMENITY. The Vue Event Center & pool areas are for private party rental ONLY. The space This adorable tiny home is newly finished in 2021, and offers comfortable and clean interior finishes. It is simple, yet lovely! :) It is located close enough to town but far enough to have peace and space when you want it. Relax around the private fire pit, take a walk around the property down to the creek, ride a horse, or just sleep in and do nothing!!! Come relax with us! -Book a sunset picnic and/or wine tasting or other event, starting at $40 per person (subject to availability; inquire within). -The Vue Event Center (aka: the barn) is not open to guests unless it has specifically been rented out and a contract has been signed. 72 hr advanced notice is highly recommended for custom experiences, picnics, wine tastings, etc. We may not be able to accommodate these amenities on short notice. No TV or WiFi, but decent cell and hot spot. Basic cooking necessities provided, and you can request anything additional from the hosts that you may need... we are happy to bring it over! Coffee and basic spices are provided. Note: This home is best suited for 2 adults and/or 2 adults with a small child or two. The tiny home offers one bedroom with a queen size bed and a memory foam topper, a living room furnished with a full size futon sleeper couch and a twin floor mattress (upon request). There is one bathroom with a shower that is in the master bedroom and is separated by a privacy curtain and a sliding barn door. Linens are provided and the kitchen is fully equipped with a large toaster/convection oven, double hot plate burner, utensils, towels, pots, pans, dishes and BBQ utensils. There will be an INITIAL amount of paper products at the house to get you started (TP and paper towels), but guests should plan to brings their own if staying longer than 2 days. We do not provide toiletries (shampoo/conditioner), but we do provide hand and dish soaps. We also offer a charcoal grill (guests need to bring their own charcoal and fluid or can purchase through us on-site). There is a mini-split wall unit equipped with AC and heat along with a ceiling fan to keep you cool in the warmer weather. If you'd like us to put together a Non GMO/organic, custom snack basket (wine, cheeses, crackers, chocolate, nuts, etc.) we will happily do that upon request (requires at least 72 hour notice). We also have an in-room menu with various items for additional purchase. Additional offerings: (Please inquire for rates and more details) -Guided fishing trip -Kayak and Canoe rentals along with transportation to/from the Kings River. -Horseback Riding/Trail Rides on site $50/hr., $80/ 90 min. -Escape Room Games -Event Center (The Vue) space available for rent in the new barn! Please check with the hosts for creek access and how best to get around the property. We live on-site. Note: The tap water is from our well, you can drink it if you so choose. Also, please inquire about our other rentals on the property for a larger family reunion or getaway. We can accommodate up to 12-14 people between all of our rentals. Trigger Gap & Kings River Outfitters 3.5 miles (rafting/kayaking). The Passion Play 8.5 miles. Eureka Brewery 7.3 miles. Three Bird Cafe & Trolly stop 7.8 miles. Thorncrown Chapel = 12 miles. Guest access You can explore the 143 acres, serenity loop hike/walk or you can drive 1/2 mile to the lower part of the property to the creek beds, and enjoy the sunsets from scenic points around the property. Please check in with host for more direction on how to get around. Other things to note There is another tiny home (Rustic Boondock) directly next door that accommodates 4 guests as well as another tiny home one door over (Bougie Boondock), a 31 ft. Airstream Camper, and a full size cabin (The Rustic Escape) that also sleeps 4 located on the same property just around the bend. If you have a larger group please inquire with owners on how to best go about renting all of these units. No TV or Wifi in the tiny home, but cell service is usually good and you may be able to connect to a hot spot. We are a Private Membership Association.
