Description
Country campsites in rural Bastrop County. Lots of stars, occasional coyotes, plenty of room to spread out your tent and camp supplies. We have picnic tables, a fire pit, lights, electricity, and water. No showers, no indoor area. Bring your tent and camp next to our barn. Camping is not offered in the barn. Outside only. An off-the-grid camping area is available at the back of the place. It's far from the highway and more quiet. No pets. The space Lots of room to camp outside the barn. Generally quiet except for afternoon traffic on Hwy 304, which is 50 yards from the barn campsite. Passing trucks can be noisy at times. We do have a more secluded primitive campsite approx a half mile from the highway where you'll be surrounded by open pastures and scattered trees. This site does not have electricity, water, or a restroom, and is geared for the rugged camper. Let us know where you'd like to camp. Pets are not allowed. Guest access Parking is available right next to the barn with direct highway access. When arriving, use the gate at the Big Black Barn. No pets.
