Welcome to our refurbished single bedroom with private shower room. Situated on the outskirts of Kirkwall with spectacular views over the town, harbour and countryside. A great location to work from or relax in after a day of exploring our unique island. Private guest entrance into the guest dining room with stairway leading to the bedrooms on the first floor - self check-in available - self-serve breakfast foods provided. Private parking - on town bus route - use of garden The space The guest dining room and bedrooms are separate form the hosts living areas. This bedroom has comfortable seating, tea & coffee facilities and a mini fridge in the hallway, directly outside the bedroom door, which leads to the private shower room. There is a privacy screen from other guests. Desk space, TV and hairdryer within the bedroom. The guest dining room can be used at any time to prepare and eat snacks, takeaways or to relax in. Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden and use the garden furniture. Private parking for one vehicle per room and outdoor storage available for bicycles, golf equipment etc - both at guests own risk. The town bus passes the door taking you into the town/harbour/travel centre where you can access transport for touring the mainland or ferries to visit the outer islands. During your stay Our aim is to provide a welcoming atmosphere for a homely stay - with a self-catering feel - yet with hosts providing breakfast foods. As this is our home we are here to offer advice or suggestions for your visit to Orkney and to help with any queries you may have. We can be contacted by messaging, phone call or email if we are not at the property. Information board and brochures available for guests to browse at their leisure. Other things to note Owners do not offer housekeeping in rooms during a short stay but this can be arranged in advance for longer stays. Additional towels, linen etc are available on request.
